SSmd's server verifies when you first acquired the free App Store edition using Apple's signed record, not local files or your computer's clock. The cutoff is the end of December 31, 2026 (UTC+8). You can verify later.

Verification is optional and never uploads documents. Apple's signed acquisition record is sent to SSmd only when you choose to verify. See our privacy policy.

You do not need to verify before the cutoff; later verification still uses your original Apple acquisition record. Visiting this website or joining TestFlight does not itself establish eligibility. TestFlight users should acquire the free App Store edition after launch and before the cutoff. Verification is not a paid license or a promise of a specific price.
